The inklings of this store began nearly 30 years ago, after working as a bookseller at Kids' Ink Children's Bookstore in Indianapolis, IN for seven years--best job ever! Though I did not begin in children's publishing, my passion for reading kids' books began, well, when I was a kid. Reading at age 3. 

My epiphany came when hearing Patricia MacLachlan speak at a children's literature conference in 1992, and from there came my calling! I was a library kid. I would say books saved my life. 

Since then, as a "creator" of children's books, I have been able to carry my passion to consumers, with a goal to help parents, educators and nonprofits who have suffered funding cuts, with a goal to get more books into the hands of more children.

Because I am in the business of making books, I am able to take deep discounts, which is why all my products are always 30% off publisher price, plus an additional 5% with a tax emept ID. I also work with schools, museums, and nonprofits with bulk and wholesale pricing. And I work directly with publishers to obtain the best discounts possible. 

With children's books for all ages, by myself, my team members and clients, with select books of excellence by roundup and review.
